Paradise Circus is the most strategically important redevelopment opportunity in Birmingham city centre.
The site is currently occupied by a collection of 1970s and 1980s buildings, including The Central Library, Birmingham City University’s Conservatoire and two buildings - Paradise Forum and Chamberlain House - owned by Argent.
Birmingham City Council has committed
£193 million to create a new Library of Birmingham in 2013 on an adjacent site and the Conservatoire is set to move to Eastside in 2011.
Argent, Birmingham City Council and Birmingham City University have prepared an outline master plan for the area which shows that a mixed use scheme of 2.2 million sq ft can be delivered when the site is cleared in 2012-13.

Paradise Forum Retail
During 2007, Argent undertook a much needed £2 million refurbishment of the Paradise Forum retail scheme to serve the needs of the 11.8 million pedestrians that pass through the centre of Paradise Circus every year.
Mediastream
Argent has established a media strategy initiative under the brand of Mediastream Solutions. Mediastream has been established to exploit the potential of the significant foot flow at Paradise Forum with the installation of the largest LCD advertising walls of their type in Europe.
