Voluntary Service Overseas in the Solomon Islands introduced Tony to construction at an impressionable age. A degree in building followed, after which he worked for contractors in the UK, Africa and the Middle East. After working on Minster Court for Bovis and the Prudential he joined Argent in 1989. He has since delivered over £300 million of construction. Quality, time and cost controls are all absolute givens. So are team work, repeat business and no legal disputes. Luckily, his golf clubs just fit into his Morgan.
Tony was Chairman of the Design and Build Foundation from 2001 to 2003 and a leading instigator of the new 'Be' organisation representing over 2000 members of the built environment.
