Elisabeth House Public Consultation
In conjunction with the Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund, Argent have formulated exciting proposals for the redevelopment of the Elisabeth House building on St Peter’s Square in Manchester city centre. A stunning new 14-storey building is proposed for the site which will feature cafes and restaurants on the ground floor and offices on the upper floors. The building has been designed by the award-winning Glenn Howells Architects and will meet the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainability.

A public consultation event is being held at Manchester Central Library on Thursday 1 October 2009 between
12 pm and 7 pm. A variety of images of the new building will be showcased together with an explanation of the design philosophy. Members of the project team will be available to discuss the proposals and answer any questions.

The downloads below contain the exhibition material that will be shown at the consultation event.

We are keen to receive comments on the proposals. These can be made by using the electronic feedback form found here . Please email the completed form to james.nicholson@argentgroup.plc.uk
by 9 October 2009.

After the consultation event has been held and comments have been received and considered, a planning application for the new building will be made to the City Council.
